YO

Today is the last day of clinic. I was supposed to take x-rays on my board patient, but he did not get the message. He has not been answereing his phone. I am afraid he has changed his mind. Hopefully not. I would DIE!! He is a little iffy due to deep probing depths, but he is my only hope! I really hope that he is going to be dependable and that he qualifies!! Mly goal is to get a hold of my board patient.

Simulation day

Today I did my clinic simulation day. I had my nephew in first. I clenaed his teeth. (what a little cutie) Then I took a full mouth on his dad. After that my board patient came in and I irrigated his lower left. I did not get to x-rays hopefully I can get him in. My goal is to get ime in. I did four quads of a three in the afternoon then a sealant as well. This was probably the most productive day of my life!!!

Today was mockboard. My patient went through a lot!! I felt bad. I could tell he was tired and sick of being there. What a hard thing to go through! I payed for him. I can't get him back in so I gave his number to one of the second years so that they could get him in. I also screened for board patient and.... da da da daaah! I found one. Actually Jamey found him for me. He has deeper pockets, but I hope he has enough calculus anyway! My goal is to get hi mback in soon!

Lucky!!!.... Not really

So last night I was lucky, but not so much. My patient canceled so I wa sbale to get someone elses class three patient say that they would come!... but they didn't show up! SO that was my lucky... not really moment. But in the afternoon my class three patient did show that I had scheduled a while ago. My goal for next time is to look for a four still haven't found any.

Nat'l Board

Today I took the nat'l board. I don't know how I did. I felt pretty good about the first part. THe second was not as good. I really hope I passed!!! My goal for this week is to relax!!! I've had a stressful time leading up to this day!!mY husband can atest to that!

no show again.!

My patient no showed again!!! Good thing I had my sister on back up duty. I had called her ahead of time to tell her she may need to be my back up patient if my patient didn't show. Sure enough I needed her. I think that is a great idea. To have someone who can come in short notice on back up duty. Then I can just call them. THat is myl goal to have a person available for back up every day>!

Today my friend came in because my other patient canceled. I was glad to see him and take care of his teeth. He needs to make sure and get his regular cleanings, it had been a year. I taught him home care. He had acavity. My goal for next time is to schedule a patient and hopefully they come in.
