mock board anesthetic

Today was mock board local anesthesia. I did the injections on my husband. He said that they did not hardly hurt at all. He ahad never had a shot in his mouth before. I failed the IA for being too deep. GOod to know!!
MY afternoon patient got lost and didn't make it in.. My goal for next time is to get a hold of him and reschedule!

BLog not working!

SOmetimes I post bloggs and they don't show up!!! IT is getting very frustrating! I don't want to have to do two every time that I post a blog!!

Almost Board Patient!!

OH man my whole entry just got erased. Here's a short version. Deposit for Board patient calculus is HUGE! a lot bigger than I thouhgt. Now I know it's going to be a lot harder to find one. I will call this one lady. THat's my goal! Adios... I just realised bothe my patients showed up for the first time ALL semester!! SWEET!! that's all bye

TOday I saw a patient that Skye lined up for me. He was a 1A he was a very cute little boy. HIs family was there, his brother and sister were also being seen. I was able to do a sealant on his sister. It was very nice to be able to share the patients to get our requirements. I will have a hard time this semester. Especially because so many of my patients have not showed up!!! Or they had to leave or had high blood pressure. Anyways, I need to brush up on my sealant placement skills.
THe afternoon I had a patient scheduled to come in for an OD he was a class two. My goal is to explain to my patients that it is extremely important for them to show up or call 24 hours in advance.

SLOW SLOW

today I felt so slow! It's really frustrating. I feel like I could do a lot better if I wasn't waiting all the time for instructors and xray rooms etc... TOday just seemed to catch all the busy times of the instructors and I was last in line. I really wish I could get some stinking patients to show up!! I'v e had so many no shows!! It's really frustrating. Well that's that my goal is to sharpen my instrumetns
